ThunderCats, the cosmic felines, is primarily an American animated series.

It was conceived by Ted Wolf, developed by Leonard Starr, and produced by Rankin/Bass in 1985. The series has 130 episodes.
The story follows a group of characters who are half–human and half–feline.
They were the sole survivors of their planet Thundera, fleeing to Third Earth, where they defend it against the Mutants of Plundarr, Mumm-Ra, and the Lunatak.
Lion O is the titular protagonist of ThunderCats and is capable of facing numerous powerful adversaries.
